US Open Prize Money Raised Upto 60 Million Dollars in 2022 Season

US Open 2022 Total Prize Money Breakdown

 

The US Open 2022 players will get prize money over $60 million for the first time in tournament history, surpassing the record of $57.5 million set in 2021.


Prizes will increase with each round of each event, including $80,000 per entrant in the first round of the main draw and $121,000 in the second round. Since 2016, these numbers have increased by 85% and 57%, respectively.


Before the main draw, the US Open Qualifying tournament will give over $6.25 million which raised 223% from 2016 which totaled $1.94 million. The prize money for the final round of qualifying will be $44,000.


The USTA reached these figures after speaking with player advisors from the WTA and ATP, focused on increasing earnings for players participating in previous rounds.
